Contribution to Political Parties

Created by Bharti Vasvani, Modified on Fri, 25 Oct at 5:25 PM by Bharti Vasvani

In India, people contribute to political parties to show support for the values and policies they believe in. These contributions help fund campaigns and promote change. Under Section 80GGC, individuals can claim a tax deduction for donations made to registered political parties or electoral trusts, as long as it's done through non-cash modes.

This deduction encourages transparent political contributions while supporting democratic engagement. You can claim 100% of the contribution as a deduction.
